Customizing Your YouTube Profile

Customizing your YouTube profile basically means that you are: providing a picture (doesn't have to be you, it could be a logo or something), filling out a brief bio about yourself, and making sure that you look like you are pretty credible on the subject that your channel is about (in some cases, this is unnecessary).

As you might have guessed, there really isn't much to this and it really isn't hard.  In fact, it is totally optional to do this and/or take action regarding any of the following tips that I am about to give you.  The only benefit that this offers is adding to your YouTube subscribers.  So, here are some tips on customizing your YouTube profile.

Add a picture of yourself or something similar to your subject.  For example, if my channel was about book reviews, I could simply add a picture of some books off of the internet (it is really easy). How? Search in Google images for your topic. When you find a picture you like, right click and then select "save picture as".  This will automatically save the picture onto your computer.  Then, simply upload it and you are good!

Write a brief bio about yourself.  If your topic would require any authority, then this is a very good idea.  This really helps your readers feel better about subscribing to your channel and trusting your content.  The best part is, this only takes a matter of seconds! You can fill out your bio however you want to, as long as you say hi and explain how you have authority or are related to the subject of your YouTube channel.

You can also do some things with your Google + account and embed videos but for now, I would simply follow those two steps above along with anything else that you find if it seems like it would work.  That's all for now!
I hope this helped
